It is with a sad heart that I need to let you know that First Baptist Brunswick and the Downtown Development Authority will not be hosting the Downtown Trunk or Treat this year. We are definitely sad about this! However, this year’s event would fall on Friday, October 31^st, and Friday nights are a bit different in our downtown area, as it plays host to many who are dining out on a weekend evening. Further, this year’s event would fall on the GA/FL Weekend, Senior Night of the BHS Football Game, AND the Fair being in town. That’s A LOT to compete with, and we feel fairly confident that our community partners AND our church members will have lots of plans that night which will make it hard for us to host a successful Trunk or Treat in our downtown community.

Please communicate this schedule change to your friends and colleagues. The Downtown Development Authority is encouraging our families to participate in neighborhood trick or treating. It is our hope that we will be able to resume festivities in 2026 or 2027. I will certainly be in touch as I have more information.
